We are currently recruiting for the following role(s):

Finishing Supervisor – Assistant Site Superintendent

We are looking for an energetic team member to join our rapidly growing team in the role of Finishing Supervisor (Assistant Site Superintendent). Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the Finishing Supervisor is responsible for delivering successful residential home projects, while meeting the schedule, budget and Formwell’s quality standards. With a solid understanding of construction practices and great supervisory capabilities, the Finishing Supervisor is responsible for directing day-to-day and long-range activities on-site for the interior finishings of each home we build.

This role is responsible for:

+ Managing and directing current and future interiors site activities
+ Monitoring Health and Safety requirements and promoting a culture of safety onsite
+ Maintaining ongoing and timely communications with the project team
+ Collaborating with trade partners and consultants to deliver the best project outcomes
+ Developing and managing the detailed construction schedule
+ Coordinating site access and deliveries
+ Ensuring the project is built to plans, specifications, shop drawings and applicable building codes
+ Maintaining appropriate field documentation, and receiving required inspections

The successful candidate brings to this role:

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office
+ Good technical problem-solving skills
+ Great eye for detail and quality
+ Strong emotional intelligence
+ Collaboration and the ability to be a team-player
+ Strong ability to read and interpret building drawings and schedules
+ 3+ years of supervisory experience in residential construction.

We offer competitive benefits and growth opportunities, including reimbursement for training and certifications, and an employee health spending account. Compensation for this role will be between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, based on experience.
